Sura 37: AS-SAAFFAT (THOSE WHO SET THE RANKS) - Juz' 23

Qarib: And he will reply: 'Are you looking down (into Hell)? '
Sarwar: Do you want to see him?' "
Shakir: He shall say: Will you look on?
Pickthall: He saith: Will ye look?
Yusufali: (A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down?"
Qarib: Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell.
Sarwar: He will look down and see him in hell.
Shakir: Then he looked down and saw him in the midst of hell
Pickthall: Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell.
Yusufali: He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire.
Qarib: 'By Allah, ' he will say, 'you almost destroyed me!
Sarwar: He will say to his friend in hell, "By God, you almost destroyed me.
Shakir: He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish;
Pickthall: He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin,
Yusufali: He said: "By Allah! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition!
Qarib: But for the Favor of Allah I should have surely been among those who were arraigned (with you in Hell).
Sarwar: Had I not the guidance of my Lord, I would certainly have been brought into torment".
Shakir: And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up
Pickthall: And had it not been for the favour of my Lord, I too had been of those haled forth (to doom).
Yusufali: "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)!
Qarib: What then, shall we not die
Sarwar: He will ask his companion, "Did you not say that there would only be one death
Shakir: Is it then that we are not going to die,
Pickthall: Are we then not to die
Yusufali: "Is it (the case) that we shall not die,
Qarib: except our first death, and shall we not be punished? '
Sarwar: and that we would not be punished?"
Shakir: Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised?
Pickthall: Saving our former death, and are we not to be punished?
Yusufali: "Except our first death, and that we shall not be punished?"
Qarib: Indeed, this is the mighty victory,
Sarwar: This is certainly the greatest triumph
Shakir: Most surely this is the mighty achievement
Pickthall: Lo! this is the supreme triumph.
Yusufali: Verily this is the supreme achievement!
Qarib: and for the like of this let the workers work.
Sarwar: for which one must strive hard.
Shakir: For the like of this then let the workers work
Pickthall: For the like of this, then, let the workers work.
Yusufali: For the like of this let all strive, who wish to strive.
Qarib: Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum!
Sarwar: Is this not a better reward than the tree of Zaqqum
Shakir: Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum?
Pickthall: Is this better as a welcome, or the tree of Zaqqum?
Yusufali: Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum?
Qarib: We have made this (tree) a trial for the evildoers.
Sarwar: which We have made as a torment for the unjust?
Shakir: Surely We have made it to be a trial to the unjust
Pickthall: Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers.
Yusufali: For We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers.
