Shedding tears in Quran is mentioned twice in the following verses:

1- Chapter: 5 , Verse: 83

and when they hear what has been revealed to the messenger you will see their eyes overflowing with tears on account of the truth that they recognize; they say: our lord! we believe, so write us down with the witnesses (of truth)

2- Chapter: 9 , Verse: 92

nor in those who when they came to you that you might carry them, you said: i cannot find that on which to carry you; they went back while their eyes overflowed with tears on account of grief for not finding that which they should spend
